Thomas Reynolds was born in New York City in 1940 and is the eighth of nine children born to Peter Reynolds from Roosky, County Leitrim, and Lily Beirne from County Roscommon. Thomas received his education at St Ann Academy and Cornell School of Labor studies. Mr. Reynolds founded Reynold Securities, LTD. in 1978, which provides investment counseling and trading services to institutional investors throughout the United States and oversees 16 billion in client assets. The New York-based firm was recently identified as one of the fastest-growing privately-owned companies in the United States. Mr. Reynolds was appointed by Governor Rockefeller to the Empire State College Council and served on the Board of Directors of Empire Blue Cross/Blue Shield from 1977 through 1990. During that time, he served as Chairman of the Finance Committee and the Executive Committee. Mr. Reynolds was recognized by the Who’s Who Publication as one of their outstanding business leaders and also served on the President’s Circle for the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. Tom has been involved with the Knights of St. Patrick for 20 years.

Tom married his wife Marilyn in 1960 and raised two children, Thomas Scott and Shannon, and is the grandfather of seven.
